Lancaster county sportsman for youth field day
Held at Southern Lancaster county, Sportsmans Association(Held at Northern Lancaster every third year) Wherever the event is Held, It is a worthwhile experience.
Lancaster county sportsman for youth is on its annual quest to round up kids for Youth Field Day.
This event is free to kids age 10-15. Everyone who attends gets a free lunch. No one needs to bring any gear. Everything necessary will be provided at the club. Parents can accompany their kids, but it's not necessary
The organization will hold its 29th field day June 1, 2024 at Southern Lancaster County Farmer-Sportsmen's Association at 742 Hollow Rd. New Providence, PA 17560
Those who attend enjoy a full day of instruction and/or participation in a variety of outdoor activities, including Archery, Canoeing, Fishing/Fly Fishing, Muzzle loading, 22 Rifle, Trapping, Trap Shooting, Turkeys, Waterfowl, and the PA Game Commission presentation.

Although most of the kids who show up at the annual Youth Field Days are kids who come from outdoors-loving families, a goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for kids who don't have that background to experience the outdoors. Youth Field Day could be the spark that will ignite some boy or girl’s lifelong love of the outdoors.
